The Opportunity
You will join a dynamic team that includes planners, surveyors and architects, working across a wide range of residential, commercial and leisure development projects. With a strong focus on strategic planning and land promotion, this role offers the chance to influence team direction, support business growth, and contribute to a well‑respected planning function known for its professionalism and high standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage a team of planning consultants.
2. Oversee and support complex planning applications.
3. Coordinate and respond to development plan consultations.
4. Provide clear, commercially driven planning advice to clients and colleagues.
5. Identify and secure new business opportunities, building strong and lasting client relationships.
6. Foster a positive, motivated and high‑performing team environment.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a highly capable and motivated planning professional who can demonstrate:
7. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
8. Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
9. Experience in development management, EIA and development plans.
10. Commercial awareness, including the ability to identify and secure new opportunities.
11. Confidence in networking and building trusted, long‑term client relationships.
