We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our Estates team within a leading public sector university in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic campus environment, supporting the maintenance and development of a wide range of academic, residential, andmercial buildings.The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, andpliant operation of electrical systems across the university estate.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical repairsInstall, maintain, and test electrical systems and equipmentDiagnose faults and ensure timely and effective resolutionEnsure all workplies with current regulations and health & safety standardsSupport minor installation and project work across campusParticipate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours emergency support when requiredMaintain accurate records of workpleted using job management systemsEssential CriteriaNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)Proven experience working as an electrician in amercial or public sector environmentStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFull UK driving licence (or suitable alternative transport arrangements)Desirable CriteriaExperience working within a university, healthcare, or large public sector estateTesting & inspection qualifications (, 2391 or equivalent)Knowledge of building management systems (BMS)BenefitsPublic sector pension schemeGenerous annual leave entitlementAccess to training and professional developmentStable, supportive working environmentOpportunity to work on a diverse and interesting estate
