Technical Manager – Port Assets, will be primarily responsible for managing technical aspects of port facility – ongoing, brownfield and greenfield development.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Asset Register:
* Prepare facility wise asset register for all material handling equipment
* Collate all reports / equipment manual for DMS
* Maintain centralize inventory register
Development Projects:
* Participate in discussions with all stakeholders on port facility development projects – Brownfield and Greenfield
* Analyze reports prepared for undertaking various development projects
* Create reports and presentations for the Management
Reliability:
* Undertake a risk assessment related with material handling equipment
* Assess equipment breakdown and downtime
* Undertake RCA
Budget Management:
* Track budget against ABP
* Optimize costs
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Collaboration:
* Collaborate with all facilities
* Drive uniformly best industrial practices. Prepare / make
* inclusions in SOP
DMS:
* Drive central DMS
Education :
BE Mechanical, Marine Chief Engineer (FG)
Skills & Specifications :
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong technical skills with MS Excel
Strong financial and analytical skills
Flexibility to travel internationally, travel is required once per month
Work experience requirements :
Specific experience in port industry and project management with experience of working with AUTOCAD
8-10 years of working in port industry
Languages :
English is must
