We are seeking an experienced and proactive Systems Supervisor to lead and oversee the Fire Alarm, Access Control, and Building Management System (BMS) teams at a high-profile pharmaceutical site in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, reliability, and operational excellence across all critical life safety and building systems. You will lead and manage a team, providing guidance and technical expertise to resolve complex issues and deliver exceptional customer service.You will report directly to our Field Service Leader / Systems Manager and you'll work out of our customer site onsite Cambridge UK Pharmaceutical. Responsibility - Supervise day-to-day operations of the Fire Alarm, Access Control, and BMS teams, ensuring timely response and resolution to issues. - Ensure all systems are maintained and operated in accordance with British Standards, site protocols, and industry best practices. - Manage planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring accurate reporting, documentation, and closeout of works. - Provide technical leadership on systems such as Gent, Tema, CPO/Care, and BMS control strategies. - Liaise with internal stakeholders, project teams, and external contractors to coordinate works and ensure system integrity is maintained. - Support commissioning, upgrade, and integration works as part of site improvement initiatives. - Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies at all times. - Train and mentor team members, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Must Have Skills - Minimum 4 years of experience in a supervisory or senior technician role managing life safety or building systems. - Demonstrated hands-on experience with Gent fire alarm systems, Tema access control, CPO/Care, and BMS control. - In-depth understanding of relevant British Standards (e.g., BS 5839, BS 7273) and their application in a pharmaceutical or high-compliance environment. - Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Experience working in GXP or regulated environments (desirable). - Relevant technical qualifications in fire safety, electrical, or building systems engineering.
