Senior BI Developer (Power BI & Reporting)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + benefits
Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office
We're working with an established UK organisation looking to strengthen its reporting and business intelligence capability.
This is a hands-on Senior BI Developer role focused on owning and maturing reporting standards across the business. You'll be the go-to person for Power BI and SQL-based reporting, helping to bring structure, consistency and commercial clarity to how data is used.
The Role
You'll take responsibility for:
Designing and developing Power BI dashboards used by senior stakeholders
Improving data modelling, metric definitions and reporting consistency
Working closely with operational and finance teams to understand business needs
Introducing structured reporting frameworks and governance standards
Identifying and automating manual reporting processes
Ensuring data accuracy, integrity and usability across departments
This role is about building robust, reliable reporting that supports decision-making — not just producing dashboards.
What We're Looking For
Strong experience with Power BI (DAX, data modelling, report development)
Solid SQL / T-SQL background
Experience owning or improving reporting standards across a business
Exposure to automation (Power Automate, VBA or similar)
Confident stakeholder engagement and requirement gathering
A pragmatic, commercially minded approach to BI
Experience with data warehousing concepts or structured reporting environments would be beneficial.
