We are currently looking for a person to join our team on a 6‐month fixed‐term basis. This role is ideal for a hands‐on, practical individual who already holds relevant qualifications and is looking to build real‐world experience in a maintenance environment.
This is very much a "handy person" role, supporting day‐to‐day maintenance activities and learning on the job across a variety of trades, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
The Role
Working alongside experienced engineers, you will:
* Assist with planned and reactive maintenance tasks
* Support basic fault finding and repairs
* Carry out routine checks and minor works
* Learn safe working practices and compliance standards
* Gain exposure to multiple engineering disciplines within a live environment
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates who:
* Have relevant qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Building Services, or a similar trade
* Are looking to gain practical maintenance experience
* Are reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
* Have a practical, hands‐on mindset and good problem‐solving skills
* Can work well as part of a team and follow instructions
Previous site or maintenance experience is beneficial, but not essential, attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach are key.
