Working as part of the Field Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless technical support and installation of Oracle Cloud hardware systems at OCI data centres, Oracle Multicloud partners and at customer sites in London and South East of the UK.

For this role, candidates must:
1. Be willing to travel to multiple locations in London and South East of the UK including OCI data centres, Multicloud partners and customer sites
2. Have a Full driving licence and be able to travel to sites at short notice
3. Be part of a 24/7 on-call rota, supporting hardware break/fix issues out of office hours when required
4. Have excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
5. Have strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems and software applications
6. Be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
7. Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for liaising with technical teams, non-technical teams and customers
8. Be a self-motivated individual, willing to learn new skills and keep up to date with the latest technologies
9. System and network hardware break/fix, maintenance and troubleshooting
10. Network troubleshooting, cable testing and replacements
11. Rack cabling, installations and deployments
12. Adhering to OCI cabling and data centre standards
13. Managing and prioritizing tickets and adhering to SLAs
14. Following SOPs and MOPs to complete day to day activities
15. Carrying out system audits and site inventories
16. Ensuring data centre compliance and security protocols are followed at all times
17. Adhering to defined health and safety policies at all times
