We are currently recruiting for a Food & Beverage Supervisor at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa is located in Nantwich and is renowned as a country house hotel in Cheshire, blending old-world charm with modern amenities. The property holds 4 AA Red Star status and notable dining accolades.
Role overview
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will help prepare food and beverage service areas to Hand Picked Hotels standards, ensuring high standards of presentation are maintained. You should have knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens and preparation styles, and be able to provide accurate, enticing product descriptions and recommendations based on guest preferences. You will work towards departmental goals, contribute ideas, and be open to new ways of working. You will maintain good knowledge of the wine list and stock availability, and understand food and wine matching principles.
Responsibilities
* Prepare food and beverage service areas to Hand Picked Hotels standards, ensuring high presentation quality.
* Maintain knowledge of menu items, main ingredients, allergens and preparation style; provide accurate product descriptions and recommendations.
* Support achievement of departmental goals, contribute ideas, and adapt to new ways of working.
* Own your role responsibilities and operate within defined parameters.
* Maintain knowledge of the wine list and stock availability; understand food and wine matching concepts.
About you
* Current base knowledge and experience of food and beverage within a quality-driven hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
* Enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities.
* Flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate.
* High emotional intelligence to anticipate guest needs and deliver Hand Picked experiences.
* Ability to deliver our guest experience standards with high-quality, personalised service that guests remember and return for.

* Competitive salary package of £30,825.60 per year, plus a share of service charge.
* Full-time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, varying with business needs.
