How You'll Help Us Live Our Purpose
We've been helping our members save for their future and buy a home of their own since 1875. By joining us, you'll play a big role in helping us to put home ownership within reach of more people, generation after generation.
How You'll Make a Difference
We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to join us on an initial 12‑month fixed term contract (or secondment) basis as we move into the next phase of our Core Banking Transformation. This programme is central to our future and represents a major investment in modern, secure and scalable technology.
For the next phase in our Core banking transformation and to optimise for pace, we have teams engaged on design, build, test, deploy and migration. You will have responsibility for the delivery of the data migration reconciliation workstream ensuring that we accurately extract, transform and load data from the legacy platforms into our new core ecosystem. Working closely with the Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure and Security teams, the initial focus will be the design, build, deployment and configuration of the selected third‑party tooling within the Society's infrastructure estate.
You will take responsibility for the end‑to‑end technical delivery and transition into live service of software and IT infrastructure components by working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and 3rd party suppliers, using the most appropriate delivery approaches for each phase of work.
What you'll bring to the role
* You will have strong experience in a similar Technology Delivery or Senior IT Project Management role involving end to end delivery of complex software and IT infrastructure solutions.
* A proven track record in project delivery following Agile such as SAFe, Scrum and Kanban as well as Waterfall.
* A proactive, influential approach to stakeholder management, bringing people with you on the journey.
* The confidence to work independently and at pace, remaining calm, adaptable and focused as priorities evolve.
And in return, you'll get the best from us
* An annual colleague bonus of up to 12%
* Hybrid working with 60% of your time at home
* Matched pension contributions of up to 10%
* 26 days holiday, plus bank holidays and holiday purchase scheme of up to 5 days each year
* Colleague Mortgage and Saver products
* Electric vehicle scheme
* 2 days volunteering per year
