£36,644 - £44,000 depending on experience. This role is reactive and offers standby and overtime pay in addition to the basic salary.

We are seeking an experienced multi-skilled Mechanical Technician with electrical experience to join our Water Services Team. This role involves ensuring the proper operation of water treatment equipment at various facilities, including water treatment works, reservoirs, towers, and pumping stations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical assets
* Working on water quality instruments and control systems, including servicing and calibration
* Working towards a Licence to Operate Qualification to manage complex water treatment works
Qualifications required:
* Completion of an apprenticeship in a relevant subject
* NVQ/ONC/BTEC Level 2 in a relevant subject
* An electrical qualification
* Ability to learn quickly and use initiative
Flexibility in working hours is required as part of a standby rota. Candidates must reside within the surrounding areas to undertake standby duties.
As part of your role, you will work on water treatment assets and may work towards a Licence to Operate Qualification.
