About the role
Our Early Years Educator Level 3 apprenticeship follows the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours outlined in the apprenticeship standard. The modules include child development, safeguarding, transitions and EPA support sessions. The course comprises assessment, professional discussions, Q&A and small assignments, supported by a dedicated trainer and an online learning environment.

What does the role involve?
* Assist in providing a safe environment for children
* Assist with daily, weekly and monthly checks around the nursery
* Assist in ensuring the unit is clean and tidy and support meal preparation
* Help maintain good relationships with local schools, charities, and community engagement
* Take children on trips, including picking them up from school
* Support children’s behaviour and act as a role model
* Ensure the environment is stimulating and appropriate – layout, display of resources, and equal opportunities
What are we looking for?
* Experience in a childcare setting, aiming to progress to a senior or supervisory role
* Completion of Level 3 will allow progression to further qualifications, including Level 5
* If you lack a grade 4 (C) or better in GCSE Maths and English, you will be required to complete Functional Skills Level 2 – trainer support available
