Position Available : Mechanical Design Engineer Location : Hertfordshire (Hybrid) Salary : £45,000 - £60,000 (DoE) Bonus Experience needed : Experience of mechanical design engineering within a very complex, high-technology engineering environment such as aerospace, defence, automotive, robotics, electronics, medical devices and similar. Demonstrable experience with CATIA V5 is very beneficial. About the role We currently have several vacancies available as we are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to work in all areas of the product lifecycle concept to in-service support. You will be leading the development of mechanical solutions on a wide variety of complex systems whilst collaborating with wider multi-disciplinary teams. What we need from you: Experience of working in mechanical design engineering within a complex environment across the full product lifecycle Relevant 3D CAD/CAE experience The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience using CATIA V5 The ability to lead mechanical design work packages and work within a multi-disciplinary team Awareness of proving and qualification activities to ensure compliance against requirements Experience of supplier engagement and development across internal and external multi-disciplinary teams An understanding of structural/thermal/dynamic analysis would be advantageous If you would like to know more details about the position or want to register your interest, hit apply below.
