Are you a Hire Desk Controller with some managerial experience looking to progress your career into a more senior position in a mobile role, mainly covering depots in the Southwest of England with occasional travel to other depots?
On offer is the opportunity to join a leading plant and heavy construction machinery provider with numerous depots around the UK. They have 25 years' experience and a team of highly skilled, dedicated engineers across the UK and are now looking for a Hire Desk Controller to help with the smooth running of operations across the UK.
In this role, you will be helping to manage hire desks in a mobile role across all UK depots. Most of the travel will be across the Southwest with occasional travel to other depots. You will be expected to manage and ensure standards are met across the business as well as monitor the numerous workshops situated within the UK.
This role would suit a Hire Desk Manager with managerial experience, who is looking to progress into a nationwide role, where you will be responsible for a team of Hire Desk Controllers with regular visits.
The Role
* Weekly travel across the Southwest, occasional travel UK-wide
* Help to manage a team of Hire Desk Controllers across the UK, helping to hit targets and oversee daily operations
* Account management as well as developing new relationships with key clients
* Assist with resource allocation across the business
* 5-hour week working from Monday to Friday, flexible working hours
