About Owen Oil Tools Owen Oil Tools manufactures and distributes the industry's most comprehensive line of advanced perforating systems that allows our customers to get more oil from their reservoirs and overcome their extraction challenges. Technical Sales Representative JOB PURPOSES To facilitate Owen Oil Tool's product sales and after sales technical support to clients in EMEA region in line with the Company's overall business strategy and objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The job holder has direct accountability to support all technical sales within the Area of Responsibility, ensuring costs are controlled (products, equipment, maintenance, etc.). Contact assigned customers within the Area of Responsibility to enhance and promote Company products/services, secure new business and sustain business relationships with existing clients. May require product training and technical/commercial presentation as directed by management. Understands oil and gas perforation products, identify, and propose explosive products to meet specific well/operational requirements. Liaise with clients to provide technical quotations and support assigned tenders/business development activity. Utilize software perforation analysis for well enhancement review / Pulsefrac modelling and/or WEM GEM solutions for internal analysis and customer support. Responsible to perform customer visits as needed to support business objectives and aligned with goals set by sales manager. Responsible to identify new customers and revenue streams as assigned through annual performance plan set by management. Responsible to actively contribute to sales forecasts and keep sales pipeline updated for assigned customer accounts. Responsible to feedback to sales and operations management actively any market intelligence, competitive positioning, and technical knowledge to assist with budgeting and business strategy. Participate in the long-term planning process as required by regional management to identifying any future capital expenditure. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers to ensure high level of post-sales support. Visit customers for one-to-one meetings to be available at short notice for any incident related issues requiring a technical root cause analysis and market growth opportunity. Maintains a close working relationship with Engineering Shipping and Compliance ensuring that a high level of support is forthcoming to aid short- and long-term technical and sales requests. Ensures that the required level of operational/technical experience is maintained, and adequate training of staff and third parties/customers is carried out. May need to provide basic training awareness on RP-67. Provide internal operations with technical support and development/ within the Area of Responsibility business unit. Actively ensures that his/her own health & safety, and the health & safety of all fellow workers or other workers are preserved at all times. Ensures full awareness of and compliance with the requirements of all relevant Company/Customer QHSE Handbooks, procedures, and emergency procedures. Ensure operational activities with Area of Responsibility comply with the company's policy and procedures and are performed in a cost-effective manner, maximizing the use of Company resources. Undertake other duties as assigned by regional management. Travel (domestic and international) will be required. EDUCATION Engineering background preferred. EXPERIENCE Minimum of 2-3 years in a sales or technical support position in the cased hole wire line, TCP (Tubing Conveyed Perforation) or Oil and Gas completions services business. Commensurate coil tubing interventions and production solutions experience with explosive services may be considered. 5 years field operations/supervision.
