I’m working with a local authority in South West England who are looking for a proactive Portfolio / Programme / Project Officer to join their Change Services team. You’ll support portfolio, programme, and project managers to help deliver successful outcomes across key council initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Must have experience:
* Past experience working in a local government, local council or charity
* Supporting project or programme management activities
* Coordinating meetings, governance, and reporting processes
* Managing multiple stakeholders and building strong working relationships
* Producing clear, accurate reports and documentation
* Problem-solving and escalating issues as needed
* Working with project documentation and quality assurance
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Proactive approach with good judgement to handle challenges as they arise
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving, changing environment
* Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outputs
Location: South West England
Work Pattern: TBD – Potential for hybrid days
Rate: Up to £390 Inside IR35
Contract: 6 months (Potential to be extended)
