Location: Northampton Hours: 45 hours per week (5 days out of 7) We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods while working in a supportive and professional environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and produce a wide range of pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked items to a high standard Ensure consistency, presentation, and quality across all pastry offerings Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety at all times Assist with menu development and seasonal specials Manage stock, minimise waste, and support ordering when required Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service Requirements Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking methods Passion for fresh ingredients and attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good time management and organisational skills Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential) What We Offer Full-time position: 45 hours per week Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Friendly and professional working environment Opportunities for creativity and development Staff meals and additional benefits (where applicable) If you're a motivated pastry chef looking to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
