Typical day as a Lead Support Worker (known by us as Coordinator) Supporting working age adults with a variety of needs, including mental health, substance misuse, physical disability, learning disability, and autism, always with a person-centred approach. Starting your shift with a handover, making sure youre up to speed on any changes in our customers wellbeing, risks, or support needs. Managing your own diary and caseload, delivering support sessions focused on practical life skills like cooking, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancies, and helping customers move on to independent accommodation. Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and regular reviews to keep everything on track and tailored to each customer.
