Offer description

Wolviston Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Instrument Designer, to support ongoing project and maintenance design work at a regulated manufacturing site in Teesside.

This is a site-based contract role, working as part of a close-knit 3-person Instrument/Electrical Design Team embedded in the client's design office. The position is available on a PAYE basis and offered for a duration of 6–12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Producing detailed instrumentation design documentation
Supporting site-based project work in a highly regulated environment
Assisting with electrical design tasks where appropriate Requirements:

Instrumentation design experience is essential
Previous experience working on site-based projects
Chemical, manufacturing or heavy industry background preferred
Competency in AutoCAD or similar design tools
Some electrical design experience would be advantageous This is a hands-on role suitable for a technically capable designer looking to contribute to a busy and safety-critical working environment
