This is a rewarding role as a Care Assistant at Agincare Homes Holdings, a family‑run business that has been caring for and supporting people since 1986. You will be working at the Fulford Nursing Home in Littlehampton, which has a “Good” rating from the Care Quality Commission. In this position you will provide companionship, personal care, medication support, meal preparation and engaging social activities with residents, helping them live as independently as possible and ensuring their overall well‑being. The role requires a minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK and a Health and Social Care Level 2 qualification is preferred.
Responsibilities
* Companionship – Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
* Personal care – Supporting with wash, bath or shower, dressing and oral care
* Medication – Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams
* Meals – Supporting with healthy meals, snacks and beverages
* Domestic tasks – Light cleaning tasks
* Mobility – Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility
* Social activities – Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home
