About the role...
Are you ready to play a key role in ensuring accuracy and excellence across our retail stores?We’re now looking for organised, detail-focused Internal Stock Auditor to join our Stocktake Team and support the successful delivery of our stock take programme across the estate.
As an Internal Stock Auditor, you’ll travel regularly between stores to complete accurate stocktakes, identify discrepancies, and help maintain strong stock integrity. You’ll work closely with store teams, providing guidance and insight on stocktake processes, and acting as the first point of contact for stocktake-related queries.
This is a field-based role requiring extensive travel across between Ireland and Scotland. You should expect frequent overnight stays, potentially up to four nights per week, depending on store locations and count schedules. Flexibility is essential, as stocktakes often take place outside trading hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight work.

Your Impact and Responsibilities…
As an Internal Stock Auditor, you will:
• Collaborate with store teams in advance to ensure preparation meets the agreed standard.
• Manage the full in-store stocktake process to ensure accurate book stock.
• Identify, investigate, and escalate stock discrepancies or anomalies.
• Carry out internal audits to confirm operational and legal requirements are being met.
• Produce and interpret clear reports that support stores in tackling external theft.
• Conduct compliance checks, contribute to post-stocktake reviews, and provide feedback to help improve accuracy and reduce shrink.
Skills and Knowledge…
We’re looking for individuals who can bring:
• Proven experience in stocktaking, inventory management, or stock control (retail background advantageous)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines effectively
• Detail-focused, analytical, and adaptable, with the resilience and proactive approach needed to confidently analyse data and produce accurate reports.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across Ireland and Scotland and flexibility to work out-of-hours shifts with regular overnight stays
