Cherry Professional is recruiting a Finance Business Partner for a manufacturing sector business with an established operational site in the Preston area. This is a hands‑on, commercially focused role, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to strengthen reporting, support decision‑making, and drive site performance.
The role
* Extensive business partnering - working with the local leadership team to support operational stakeholders
* Lead month‑end close and deliver accurate, timely management reporting
* Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with clear insight and recommendations
* Support capex and spend tracking - driving decision support information
* Improve process, controls and management information
* Supporting the General Manager as the main finance head in the local management team
What we’re looking for
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or Qualified By Experience with strong, relevant experience
* Solid experience in a site‑based / operational finance role
* Confident communicator with the credibility to influence stakeholders
* Strong Excel and a proactive, improvement‑led mindset
* Must have manufacturing experience and ideally standard costing
