Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our dynamic management team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong background in hospitality or Big venue environments. As a Trainee Supervisor, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, assisting them with their needs, and ensuring they have a positive experience. You will handle complaints, emails and booking queries. Both of our venues serve alcohol and everyone must follow a strict challenge 25 policy. Northants Venue Hire (NVH) is a large venue for hire comprising of a soft play, arcade, photo booth, pool table, dance floor and Licensed Bar. Open hours are from 9am-11pm some days. Laser Zone is a thriving stand alone Laser Tag arena and venue. We offer general sessions, Birthday Parties and venue hires. You will need to be trained on both venue's and how they operate. You will party host alongside your role. This will be a role that will need weekend availability and some days during the week when required.
Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and assist them in booking and choosing the perfect experience for them.
* Provide knowledgeable advice on packages to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Maintain an organised and clean venue, ensuring all areas are up to cleanliness standards.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
* Process transactions accurately at the till, including card payments.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance.
* Participate in events, promotional days and company meetings.
* Stay informed about new products, promotions, and Venue policies to effectively assist customers.
* You will also be a key holder and will be required at times to open and lock up the venue.
Skills
* A background in hospitality or guest services, with experience in roles such as party hosting or bartending being advantageous.
* Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer queries over the phone.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers effectively.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and helping customers find solutions that meet their needs.
* Team player mentality with the ability to collaborate well with colleagues across various departments.
* Cash handling and end of day cashing up.
* This role has potential to be trained into a supervisor role with more hours.
