The EVE LOM brand is at an exciting point of evolution, with a new global brand team, strategic direction & impact plan being developed. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to be part of shaping the future of the brand itself, the business & the team culture.
We are seeking an exceptional finance leader to serve as a strategic partner to the Global Brand President & Yatsen Group Finance — providing the financial rigour, commercial insight, & governance framework that will underpin EVE LOM’s next phase of international growth.
Key Accountabilities
* Strategic Financial Leadership — Serve as the senior financial partner to the Global Brand President & Group Finance, shaping EVE LOM’s financial strategy, providing forward-looking commercial insight, and contributing to the three-year strategic roadmap & annual operating plan.
* FP&A — Primary Focus (~60% of Role) — Own and lead the full FP&A agenda across the international business (UK, US, EMEA, APAC & Travel Retail); deliver high-quality budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling & scenario analysis; drive a rigorous monthly performance review cycle, providing the leadership team with clear commercial insight on business performance vs. budgets & forecasts, and identifying risks & opportunities in a timely manner.
* Global P&L Ownership — Work in close partnership with the China finance team to consolidate and deliver one unified global P&L; establish a robust, collaborative way of working between the international and China finance functions to ensure consistent reporting, shared assumptions & a single view of global business performance for Group Finance & the Global Brand President.
* Financial Reporting & Group Compliance — Deliver accurate, timely & insightful financial reporting in line with Yatsen Group standards & timelines, including monthly management accounts, performance packs, and year-end accounts prepared in coordination with external advisors & Group Finance.
* Controls, Governance & Risk — Establish & maintain a best-in-class framework of accounting controls, financial procedures & governance processes across all international markets, ensuring accountability, auditability & compliance with corporate governance requirements.
* Cash Flow & Treasury — Oversee cash flow management & working capital optimisation, maintaining appropriate liquidity across global markets & partnering with Group Finance on treasury-related matters.
* Stakeholder & External Relationship Management — Build & maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, insurers & commercial lenders; protect the business’ financial integrity & ensure confidentiality of all financial information.
* Cost Management & Efficiency — Champion cost discipline across the organisation; identify & drive efficiency opportunities, ensuring competitive cost structures & rigorous value management in partnership with operational teams.
* Team Leadership & Development — Directly lead the finance team responsible for the day-to-day financial running of the international business (UK, US, EMEA, APAC & Travel Retail); develop & inspire the team through a coaching & mentoring approach, building a high-performing, commercially oriented finance function capable of supporting EVE LOM’s scale ambitions.
* Finance Systems & SAP Analytics — Leverage SAP as the primary platform for financial operations, reporting & analytics; develop and embed SAP-driven insights on sales performance & cash management that enable faster, better-informed commercial decisions across the business; identify & implement broader improvements to finance systems & processes, and support Group digital transformation & ERP enhancement initiatives across all markets.
Candidate Profile
* 12+ years’ progressive finance experience, including significant time in a senior leadership role; CIMA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent); experience in or senior finance leadership within a consumer goods, luxury beauty or FMCG environment strongly preferred.
* FP&A specialist at heart — with a demonstrable track record of owning complex, multi-market budgeting, forecasting & financial planning processes; able to build compelling financial narratives and translate data into actionable commercial insight for senior leadership.
* Proven track record as a strategic finance partner at senior/board level, with the confidence & presence to influence business decisions and challenge constructively across the leadership team.
* Experience directly managing a small finance team responsible for the end-to-end financial operations of an international business; proven ability to develop talent & build high-performing teams through a coaching & mentoring approach.
* Ideally experience working within a Group/parent company reporting structure with exposure to consolidating multi-market P&Ls; prior experience working with or alongside a China finance function, or within a Chinese parent company structure, a distinct advantage.
* Deep expertise across the full finance function: financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting & forecasting, controls & governance, cash flow & treasury, and audit management.
* Strong understanding of corporate governance requirements, international accounting standards & best practice across multi-market, multi-currency environments.
* Commercially astute with excellent analytical, problem-solving & strategic thinking skills; capable of operating comfortably at both strategic and operational levels.
* Fluency in both English is essential, fluency in Mandarin Chinese a strong benefit as required to facilitate effective communication & collaboration with the China finance team and Yatsen Group stakeholders.
* Demonstrable track record of working with SAP in a finance leadership context; able to leverage SAP to build meaningful analytics, reporting & insights on sales performance & cash management, and drive greater commercial visibility across the business.
