Overview
Graphic Designer role in Costello Medical’s Creative team focused on delivering diverse and intricate projects for healthcare clients and the company. Projects include brand development, infographics, event materials, and potentially motion and digital work such as interactive exhibition materials, video editing, animations, and eLearning modules. You will be involved in every stage of the project lifecycle with collaboration across designers, project managers, and clients.
Responsibilities
* Develop engaging visual content across a range of materials (infographics, posters, event materials, and other design pieces) for internal teams and external clients.
* Collaborate with creative colleagues and project managers to determine design scope, purpose, and strategic approach at project outset.
* Communicate project requirements clearly to project teams and provide input on technical queries.
* Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.
* Deliver exceptional service and build strong partnerships with internal teams and external clients.
Requirements / Qualifications
* A degree-level or higher qualification in a design-related discipline (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) with a strong portfolio. Diverse specialisms are welcome (e.g., Graphic Design, Illustration, Fine Art, Digital Communications, Graphic Communication Design, Marketing).
* Proven experience in an agency or commercial environment.
* Extensive experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, with familiarity with other Adobe Creative Cloud software.
* Ability to generate, execute, and oversee a variety of creative concepts; problem-solving mindset; ability to think outside the box.
* Confidence presenting work to diverse audiences (internal and external).
* Strong organizational and time management skills, high productivity, and ability to adapt to changing deadlines.
* Ability to manage conflicting demands and prioritize effectively; excellent attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and ability to build robust working relationships.

Benefits
* Salary: £28,000 to £33,000 per annum outside of London; £28,860 to £33,000 per annum in London, depending on experience.

Location and Start
This role is based in Costello Medical’s Global Headquarters (Cambridge) with options at London, Manchester, Bristol, and Edinburgh offices.
Working Policy
Hybrid working policy allows office presence for collaboration with homeworking up to half of the time after probation; during probation, up to 1 day per week from home.
