Job Description
Associate Director, Global Business Operations Leader, London Stockley Park (UK)
We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director to join the Global Decision Sciences & Insights (GDSI) team to help drive our transformation towards a data-driven decision-making organization. This position will be based in our Stockley Park regional headquarters in Uxbridge (UK) and will report to the Senior Director leading the overall group.
This role will bring our global commercial data assets to life through oversight and ownership of our data processes, ensuring effective onboarding onto the new cloud platform and integration with other data sources to enable automated reporting, field execution tools, and advanced analytics. This includes management of our ICF (International Cloud Foundation) global data lake, ownership of Data Products, and key dashboards built on ICF.
Success in this role requires collaboration and stakeholder management across global affiliates, IT, GDSI, and Communications Operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in data platform operations, data product development, and platform governance.
Summary of Role and Requirements
Main areas of work:
* Business owner for ICF, driving operations, governance, and enhancements such as new data onboarding and KPIs in BRE and Supernova.
* Business owner for ATLAS data products, stitched and curated data on ICF.
* Drive governance across data products and ICF for all affiliates.
* Develop and manage the enterprise data catalog in partnership with IT and GDSI.
* Ensure relevant data is onboarded onto the cloud platform and integrated for consumption and automation.
* Understand reporting needs and develop or enhance reports accordingly.
* Maintain field reports as the single source of truth in live affiliates.
Other Key Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with country teams, support mutual business needs.
* Articulate data ingestion options and balance standard vs. custom needs.
* Support cloud foundation development for data ingestion and analytics environment.
* Define, prioritize, and implement use cases for ICF enhancements.
* Partner with IT on data ingestion and data mart enablement.
* Seek process improvements and promote new technologies for efficiency and automation.
* Ensure timely data flow and KPI reporting with minimal latency.
* Oversee quality checks for data assurance.
* Leverage support from team members, IT, and vendors.
* Collaborate across global teams and time zones.
* Take on additional projects as needed within GDSI.
Partnerships
* Serve as the internal expert for ex-US data, collaborating with Marketing Sciences and Data Science teams.
* Partner with affiliates and IT to enhance platforms and reporting.
* Organize knowledge sharing sessions on data usage and value.
* Operate with an enterprise mindset focused on outcomes.

* Partner with legal and compliance to meet privacy and regulatory requirements.
