We offer professional development, friendly and supportive team, professional qualifications and career progression. The role of Credit Officer within our Monitoring team is really important to us. You will be responsible for ongoing review of customers fuel spend against agreed credit limits using internal systems and credit agency information to manage risk in line with credit policy. What will your day look like? Analyse and collate data from different sources to complete risk reviews Communicate risk recommendations to senior stakeholders to influence and shape risk/ reward decisions Review financial information and compile trend analysis, produce risk reviews for senior management and external insurance companies. Daily review of credit limit breaches, prioritising workload based on internal risk strategy Manage accounts through to conclusion, working to agreed deadlines and obtaining buy in for actions from key stakeholders Fraud prevention using spend trends to identify risks Timely query resolution, working with colleagues in other departments, such as sales, Fin Ops, Fraud and TQs to resolve issues Manage the relationship with sales account management to ensure open communication and agreed level of risk/ reward Underwrite credit limits and present credit recommendations to key stakeholders Actively engage in relevant and appropriate opportunities for cross-department working to build relationships & share knowledge Participate in meetings and projects with wider credit team to continually improve department performance Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders within the Radius Group Use exposure to different areas of Credit and businesses / products to share good ideas and approaches across the team and improve the processes and systems as a result Credit alerts management, ensuring effective decisions are made to minimize risk What do we expect of you?
