Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Health Care Support Worker to join the Radiology Ward at University Hospital Wishaw. The role involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient group during radiological imaging procedures, including CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and plain film examinations.
The successful candidate will assist radiology staff in producing high-quality images across all imaging modalities, ensuring patient-centered care and smooth patient flow within the department and hospital.
Training and Contract Details
Applicants who do not meet the essential criteria will be considered under the Annex 21 training program. Trainees will be paid a percentage of Band 3 salary during training, progressing to Band 3 upon completion.
Contract: Band 3, Permanent, Full-Time, 37 hours/week.

Candidate Requirements
* SVQ III in Healthcare Support - Clinical, or equivalent experience, or working towards it.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Effective communication and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in computer skills.
Additional desirable skills include the ability to carry out patient care tasks effectively in a busy environment.
