Role overview
We are looking for a passionate coder to join our Pricing, Data and Analytics team. You will play a critical part, building out and testing pricing logic in Python to support our growth ambitions. If you’re a recent graduate with an interest in Python development then this could be a great opportunity for you!
You will be responsible for planning and executing pricing logic implementation and testing activities for our key Insurance-based projects. In this role, your responsibilities will centre on software development, automation, development of new tools and testing.
You will be required to demonstrate the robustness of your code and then integrate your work into our live pricing systems.
Job details
1. Familiarity with our current insurance pricing approach and identify areas for operational improvement
2. Design and write logic that delivers the right price to customers in a timely manner
3. Develop tools and code to automate processes and support other teams
4. Provide testing & technical support to our pricing team
5. As a Pricing Engineer, you will develop, deliver and maintain pricing logic to deliver the right price at the right time to our customers. You are expected to have strong technical abilities that enable you to significantly improve product quality.
Essential skills/experience:
6. You will have a strong understanding of Python.
7. You will be a fast learner, willing to put in the effort to understand the complex world of insurance
8. We would like you to be passionate about sharing your ideas to engage and enthuse some of our most senior stakeholders.
9. We want you to be relentlessly curious, a creative thinker, enthusiastic with drive and adaptability in any situations that could come your way.
