Salary: £38,000 – £43,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care services across Calderdale and Kirklees. As part of the SureCare franchise, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, maintaining compliance with CQC regulations, and leading a team that delivers safe, effective, and person-centred care to our clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strong leadership and management to the care team, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with all CQC standards, regulations, and SureCare policies.
* Oversee recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management of staff.
* Manage care packages, ensuring they are person-centred, safe, and meet individual needs.
* Work closely with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities to maintain positive relationships and high-quality service delivery.
* Maintain accurate records, including care plans, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
* Monitor financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure sustainability and growth of the service.
* Conduct regular audits, reviews, and quality checks to maintain "Good" or higher CQC ratings.
* Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and equality and diversity across all aspects of the service.
* Report directly to the Directors and contribute to business development and expansion within the Calderdale and Kirklees area.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager in domiciliary/home care or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance.
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage budgets, resources, and a large workforce effectively.
* A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals within the community.
* Ability to work flexibly, including on-call responsibilities when required.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
