As aBusiness Development Manager, Transportation and Mobility, based in theUK, you will be a key driver of Worldline’s growth in the transportation & mobility sector. Your role will focus on creating and executing a go-to-market strategy with the objective to sign up new enterprise clients, includingleading transport & mobility operators, system integrators and relevant partners, and expanding our footprint across Europe. You will leverage your expertise in payments to develop strategic partnerships, generate revenue opportunities, and position Worldline as the preferred payment solutions provider.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition & Growth
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within theTransportation and Mobility sectoracross Europe with strong initial focus on theUK.
* Build and nurture apipeline of high-value prospects, leading them through the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
* Develop and execute ago-to-market strategy, targeting enterprise clients inTransportation andMobility.
* Leadcommercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract structuringto maximize revenue growth.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
Strategic Market Expansion
* Analyzemarket trends, regulatory updates, and competitive landscapesto identify opportunities for expansion.
* Develop tailored value propositions that align with customer needs and Worldline’spayment solutions portfolio.
* Work closely with theproduct and innovation teamsto ensure our offerings remain competitive and relevant to transportation and mobility industry trends.
* Represent Worldline atindustry events, conferences, and networking forumsto build brand awareness and generate leads.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
* Work cross-functionally withaccount management, product, compliance, marketing, and operations teamsto drive new business opportunities.
* Partner with internal teams to enhanceclient engagement strategies and optimize sales processes.
* Providemarket feedbackto help shape Worldline’s product roadmap and service enhancements.
Who Are We Looking For
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven track recordin business development, sales, or strategic partnerships withinpayments, transportation, mobility, or fintech industries.
* Strongnetwork among public transportation operators, authorities and private mobility operators as well as system integratorsis a plus.
* Expertise inB2B sales, consultative selling, and complex deal negotiations.
* Ability to developcompelling value propositionsand communicate the benefits of Worldline’s solutions.
* Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
* Excellentcommunication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working in amultinational and matrixed environment, collaborating across teams and geographies.
* Fluency inEnglish; additional languages (e.g., French, German) are a plus.
Preferred Experience:
* +10 yearsof “hunter” experience inbusiness development, sales, or partnershipswithin the payments, fintech, or transportation and mobility.
* Knowledge ofpayment solutions, cross-border transactions, and transportation & mobility industry payment challenges.
* Experience withCRM tools such as Salesforce.
* A strongentrepreneurial mindset, with a drive tohunt and close deals.
* Experience leadingregional expansion strategiesand working with enterprise clients.
