We are working with an excellent engineering company who are looking for an experienced accounts/payroll assistant to join them on a full time, permanent basis. Due to this role reporting into the managing director and the main point of contact within the team it would suit an experienced senior accounts/payroll clerk or Bookkeeper.
Duties will include:
* Prepare accounts to trial balance
* Full end to end payroll (in house - most monthly pay)
* SMP/SPP/SSP
* Dealing with staff expenses and holidays etc
* Processing purchase invoices
* Uploading and matching invoices
* Bank reconciliations
* VAT returns
* Other adhoc administrative duties
