We're looking for a dedicated Support Assistant to join our Peripatetic Service at Delacy Gardens, Pontefract. This vital service operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, delivering high-quality care to people in their own homes.


Role and Hours

The post is for 21.00 hours per week. You\'ll work on a 2-week rolling rota, including:

* Evening shifts: 16:00 – 23:00
* Salary: 25,583-25,989 (FTE)
* Weekends and bank holidays (enhanced pay rates apply)


Responsibilities

* Supporting individuals to remain in their own homes
* Promoting independence and person-centred care, e.g. washing/dressing/bathing/toileting/meals & medication
* Working collaboratively with professionals and agencies
* Treating every person with dignity and respect

Qualifications and Training

To apply, you\'ll need:

* Essential:
* GCSE Grades D - G in Maths and English or
* Functional Skills Level 1 in Maths and English
* Desirable (but not required):
* Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

Don\'t have the Level 2 qualification? No problem! We\'ll provide full training and fund your qualification after successful completion of your probation period.
