✨ About the Roles:
We’re looking for enthusiastic, confident individuals to join our team of Cover Supervisors, with immediate opportunities available in:
* A Welsh-medium secondary school in Llanelli, and
* A Welsh-medium secondary school in Carmarthen.
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom when the regular teacher is absent, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive, engaging atmosphere for pupils. This is an excellent opportunity to build valuable classroom experience - ideal for aspiring teachers or anyone looking to develop their career in education.
🧑🏫 Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
* 📚 Supervise and engage students during lessons
* 📝 Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students stay on task
* 🧠 Manage classroom behaviour and foster a focused learning environment
* 🎯 Encourage participation and support individual learning needs
* 🔒 Commit to safeguarding and pupil well-being
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
* Fluent Welsh language skills (spoken and written) – essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The confidence to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment
* A proactive, adaptable approach to working across different subjects and school settings
* A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
* Experience working with children or young people (in a school or other setting)
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one through us)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
