The Role: Content Strategy for a Flagship Product
We are seeking a
highly capable Content Strategist
to join a collaborative team, focusing on a
specific, large product
within the business (e.g., Pixel, Google Play, etc.). This role is crucial, as it focuses on developing and executing content that supports different feature launches throughout the product's lifecycle.
This is a
demand-based role
, not a cover, and requires an individual who can hit the ground running within a fast-paced product environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Content Lifecycle Management:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, particularly
Product Vertical Teams
, to strategically determine which product features require new content or updates.
* Editorial Excellence:
Leverage a strong
writing and editorial background
to define content needs, standards, and guidelines for user-facing product information.
* Content Execution:
Update existing content and oversee the creation of new materials necessary for product and feature launches, ensuring all information is accurate, timely, and aligned with the brand voice.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner daily with fellow Content Strategists, sharing best practices and collaborating on large-scale product initiatives.
* Project Delivery:
Manage the content workflow from ideation through to publication, ensuring all content is delivered to support product launch deadlines.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
* Experience:
Proven professional background in content, writing, or editorial roles. Experience working directly on content for a large product or platform is highly desirable.
* Team Fit:
Candidates with backgrounds in
editorial fields
are particularly encouraged to apply.
* Communication:
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex content requirements clearly to technical and non-technical teams.
* Work Arrangement:
Must be comfortable with a
Hybrid working schedule
(Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the London or Dublin office; Monday and Friday remote).
