Overview
Teacher of German – permanent position with flexibility for part time (0.7 FTE) to full time (1 FTE). Salary: £34,727-£50,093 full-time equivalent, dependent on experience. The Grammar School at Leeds (GSAL) seeks a talented and inspirational Teacher of German to join the Languages Faculty from January 2026. The successful candidate will have strong classroom management skills and be able to teach German at all levels; ability to teach a second language at KS3 is desirable.

Responsibilities
* Teach German to students across key stages, at all levels.
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and develop engaging, high-quality lessons.
* Collaborate within a reflective and collaborative languages department with French, German, Spanish and Classics.
* Contribute to the department’s super-curricular programme, including trips and visits.
* Support co-curricular activities and the school House system.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Ability to teach German at all levels.
* Desirable: ability to teach a second language at KS3.
