Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting a highly motivated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal for a law firm’s brand-new office. The successful candidate will support the conveyancing department by assisting with the smooth and efficient management of property transactions from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation of legal documents, including contracts, forms, and client correspondence.
* Manage the progression of property transactions, liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other third parties.
* Conduct legal research and ensure all regulatory compliance is met.
* Maintain accurate case files and ensure documentation is processed and filed correctly.
* Provide administrative support to senior conveyancing staff, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in a conveyancing role or relevant legal background.
* Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and legal terminology.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications:
* A conveyancing paralegal qualification (Scottish Law).
