Job summary
We are seeking a GPhC Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our Inpatient Dispensary Team.
Responsibilities
* Support the Dispensary Manager in management, coordination and delivery of the Inpatient Dispensary service.
* Perform all duties in accordance with Trust and Departmental policies and procedures.
* Undertake appropriate post-qualification studies as required.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum qualification NVQ3 Pharmacy Services, BTEC Pharmaceutical Science or CGLI/Apothecaries Hall pre 1985 certificates.
* Registration with General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Checking accreditation (Accredited Checking Technician, Medicines Management Accreditation, Preparative Services Checking Accreditation).
* Computer literacy (Word, Excel).
* Recent hospital or community pharmacy dispensing or relevant specialist experience.
* Recent dispensing or aseptics experience.
* Optional: Supervision of other staff grades.
