We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join the Isle of Ely Community Rehabilitation Team based at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Lynn Road, Ely, CB6 1DN. This role is suitable for an experienced OT.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide autonomous, high‑standard care as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering rehabilitation to patients with physical disabilities in their home environments.
* Assess, plan and develop specialist occupational therapy programmes for patients with a wide variety of complex needs.
* Manage your own caseload, prioritise referrals according to clinical need, signpost appropriately and conduct assessments of patients with complex and multiple pathologies.
* Supervise junior staff and students, oversee patient interventions and ensure that Senior Therapy Assistants and Therapy Assistants deliver high‑quality patient care.
Requirements
* Self‑motivated and able to work autonomously within a community rehabilitation team.
* Full UK driving licence and use of a vehicle – this role requires independent travel throughout the county on strict time deadlines.
