Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at bikebook.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving the growth of our company through online demonstrations and relationship management.
The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for achieving targets.
Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
* Prepare and deliver compelling demonstrations about our software to potential clients.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions within Pipedrive software.
* Provide regular reports on business development progress to senior management.
Please note, some evening working is required to assist in our international expansion.
Experience
* Proven experience in business development or sales, within the cycling industry (preferred, but not required).
* Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management towards bike shops and mechanics.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess market trends and make data-driven decisions.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
