Field Service Engineer – Leicester
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Leicester area. The geographical patch to be covered is the LE / CV21, CV22, CV23 postcode area.
Job Summary
As a Field Service Engineer, you will work as a forklift technician, plant fitter, or vehicle technician, troubleshooting fault diagnosis and preventive maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites. You will handle a range of equipment from small pallet trucks to IC and VNA trucks, as well as automated trucks.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and rectify faults on Linde material handling equipment.
* Undertake preventative maintenance on equipment.
* Maintain accurate records and place orders through IT systems.
* Provide on‑site support and service across the Leicester area.
Qualifications
* Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics experience in forklift or plant equipment.
* Experience as a forklift technician, plant fitter, vehicle technician, or similar role.
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification (desirable, not essential).
* Full UK driving licence.
* IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.
