Job Description
3. Developing and implementing purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives
4. Leading supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation and performance management
5. Driving cost savings, value creation and risk mitigation across the supply chain
6. Managing a small team, ensuring clear development pathways and high engagement
7. Building strong cross-functional relationships with operations, engineering and finance
8. Ensuring compliance with quality, ethical and sustainability standards
The Successful Applicant
9. Proven experience in a purchasing leadership role within manufacturing or engineering environments
10. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
11. Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to influence at all levels
12. Experience of developing supplier partnerships and driving continuous improvement
13. A proactive, strategic mindset with a track record of delivering measurable results
14. Previous people management experience
15. SAP experience or an equivalent ERP
16. Good Excel knowledge (formula level)
