TheOpportunity:
Operating within amatrix managed organisation this role will report to the GlobalTendering Manager with direct mentoring and day to day workingdirection from the Senior Tender Manager of the Marine SiteCharacterisation (Survey) BusinessUnit.
The role is ideallysuited to a Tender Engineer or Tendering Project Manager withexperience of compiling compelling technical offers and solutionsacross Bathymetric Hydrographic and Geophysical subsea surveyservices.

Therole will include the management and facilitation of allocatedscopes of tendering activities and the successful applicant shallbe responsible for regular reporting of progress to internalStakeholders to ensure on time submissions of highqualityproposals.
Utilising yourexperience to coordinate with additional subject matter expertsfrom within the organisation to support the design of optimaltechnically advanced solutions. This includes; line planningacquisition sensor type offshore durations risks and opportunitiesreporting timescales and ultimately pricing to package up acompelling and industry leading offer that meets our clientsrequirements and exceeds theirexpectations.
Thisrole formsan essential part of the companys tendering process to ensurecustomers wants and needs are clearly captured and our solutionsarticulated via the proposals Rovco craft in response.
MainResponsibilities
* Createscompelling high quality tenders using your experience of requiredsolutions to fulfil the clients needs for a particular RFI RFQ orITT.
* Ability to incorporate Rovcostechnology suite into solutions that will provide benefits andefficiencies to clientsprojects.
* Communicate and work withcustomers and their project teams to identify needs that translateinto best fit solutions.
* Consultswith peers for input into technical and commercialsolutions.
* Preparation of pricingestimates for tenders.
* Obtaincommercial quotes from key subcontractors and complete technicaland commercial evaluation of suchsubcontractors.
* Works closely withthe Business Acquisition team and the Business Unit Director tostay ahead of the market and drive forward looking businessstrategy.
* Ensuring any approvalsneeded prior to submission are obtained in line with governanceprocesses.
* Analyse the commercialelements of tender documents prepare and negotiate qualificationsas required.
* Review of contracts froma commercial perspective to help prepare for contractualnegotiations.
* Identification of risksand opportunities within tenders initiating mitigation/improvementplans to allow allocation of contingency to theproject.
* Oversee final compilationquality control and delivery of tender documents todeadlines.
* Accountable for arrangingthe project handover meeting and ensuring that all relied upon dataclarifications risk/opportunities pricing and other pertinentdocuments are available to Project Managers and operationalteams.
Youshould apply if youhave:
Essential:
* Significantknowledge of tendering domestic and international markets in theOffshore Wind or Oil and Gas sectors
* Bachelors Degree or equivalentexperience/skills considered in appropriate disciplines such asHydrographic Survey Geophysical Survey Marine Science orOceanography.
* Relevant industryexperience preferably within Marine Survey Offshore Wind or thewider offshore energysector.
* Offshore operationalknowledge is advantageous but notessential.
* Skilled in operatingMicrosoft Office Software packages especially Word andExcel.
* Ability to communicate withcolleagues at all levels.
