Automation Test Lead - £409 outside IR35 - Hybrid (London 3 days outside IR35)
Please note: This is a 6 month contract position. Candidates will be expected to go into the office 3 days per week
La Fosse have partnered with a business undergoing a large-scale transformation to hire a Automation Test Lead to own end-to-end testing across a complex, multi-system programme.
Key responsibilities:
* Strong experience working with Java and/or Kotlin in a testing/automation environment
* Define and drive the overall testing strategy across the programme
* Establish QA governance, standards, and best practices
* Lead and coordinate 3–4 offshore QA engineers
* Champion an automation-first approach, embedding testing into CI/CD
* Align testing across multiple teams, managing dependencies and risk
* Provide clear reporting on quality, progress, and delivery readiness
