As a Multi-tasked Operative, you will have a range of duties to support the operational efficiency, general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site Duties and responsibilities: Ensure conduct and behaviour to be compliant with Wincanton Health & Safety legislation and guidelines Work in a team environment Operate customer & Wincanton IT systems as required Complete all necessary paperwork accurately A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site Undertake all training necessary to fulfil the requirement of flexibility to enable presence within any required areas of the warehouse To undertake such additional duties as may be reasonably required for the effective role Ensure time and attendance within Company set standards Be available for call out work as part of an existing team Flexibility - overtime requirements Ensure that any issues are escalated to management Carry out operational tasks as requested in order to achieve departmental and site objectives React to change due to operational and client requirements and carrying out duties in a professional and timely fashion Ensure the correct handling of all client products is carried out at all stages within the facility Complete all relevant documentation as required in order to provide a quality service to our client and, therefore, contributing to greater operational efficiency Be committed to continuous improvement in line with operational needs, constantly striving for increased efficiency, productivity and growth Operate within the Wincanton values – Excellence, Integrity, Passion, Proactivity, Togetherness and Trust Compliance with all Wincanton policies and procedures Person S pecification Experience, skills and attributes: Attention to detail Ideally experienced and licensed in use of MHE Computer literate and can operate RF guns Good understanding/experience working with extensive warehouse management systems Team player Customer focussed Polite and professional manner Our Commitment: Our people are our most important asset and as such we are continuously expanding our capability programs to provide you with opportunities to build and extend your professional, functional, and management skills.
