You should be able to work as part of a team but also have the ability to work flexibly and independently in a professional manner. The role will involve interaction with a variety of people, including patients, nurses and doctors; therefore applicants must possess excellent communication skills.
This role requires GPhC Registration.
Base Location : University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust

Medicines optimisation duties on the wards, undertaking medicines reconciliation, patient’s own drug assessments, patient counselling and reducing unnecessary wastage on discharge by managing the medication supply pathway and providing a one-stop dispensing service
Dispensary duties including checking dispensed medicines as an Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT)

To support seven day working, staff for this role are required to work late nights, weekend and bank holiday on a rotational basis
