About the Role
Raytheon UK is hiring Production Associates to work within our electronics manufacturing facilities at Glenrothes or Livingston. Travel to Livingston may be required. Roles may involve Day or Night shifts, totaling approximately 36.5 to 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Specific hours will be confirmed during recruitment and interview. Full training will be provided, including a training program in the initial weeks to equip you with necessary skills.
Main Duties
Perform production tasks in daily operations within manufacturing areas, including:
* Soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
* Mechanical and wiring assembly
* Kit preparation
* Bonding and coating
* Testing assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialized equipment
Candidate Requirements
Essential
* Experience in similar environments/roles
* Good manual dexterity
* Basic PC skills
* Focus on quality and customer satisfaction
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Pass basic eye test (including color blindness)
Desirable
* Electronics and mechanical assembly experience
* Good communication skills
* Organizational skills
