About the role
As a result of the continually growing demand for our specialist services, we are looking for an individual to join our expanding National Employer Solutions Team and wider People Advisory Service Group as a Manager. We offer flexible and agile working arrangements.
You will be responsible for providing UK employment tax advisory and compliance services to a wide range of clients. This involves building relationships and assisting senior staff in client work and group management. You will be supported by a team, delegating work and fostering their development.
1. Dealing with all employment taxes matters arising on clients, including advisory and compliance issues.
2. Handling issues such as P11D, PSA, termination payments, IR35, employment status, PAYE/NIC risk reviews, disclosures, HMRC enquiries, and CIS.
3. Delivering employment tax projects according to firm standards and quality controls.
4. Building client relationships and identifying tax planning opportunities, undertaking technical assignments as needed.
5. Managing, supervising, supporting, and developing junior colleagues, including briefing, supervision, and on-the-job training.
6. Supporting the team with presentations, seminars, and client engagement activities.
7. Researching and preparing proposals for new work, participating in client presentations.
8. Coordinating with other departments to identify and meet client needs.
9. Maintaining technical knowledge through reading, courses, and CPD compliance.

2. Ability to build relationships internally and externally to enhance service offerings.
3. Project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
4. Experience supervising staff and training junior team members.
5. Experience managing client financials and adapting approaches based on budgets.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Qualifications such as ATT, CTA, ACA, or equivalent experience.
