Job Description
Our client is a well-established business with a strong reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality technical solutions. They are currently looking for an experienced Service Technician to join their team, installing and supporting electronic systems.
This is a field-based role covering the UK and Ireland, working Monday to Friday, with regular overnight stays required. When not on-site, you’ll be expected to attend the office based on the South Coast, so candidates should be within reasonable travel distance.
The Electronic Systems Engineer Role
* Installing specialist electronic systems in a wide range of customer environments
* Advising and supporting clients with technical information and system use
* Carrying out site surveys and preparing RAMS documentation
* Performing scheduled maintenance on installed systems
* Producing clear and accurate service reports following site visits
* Communicating effectively with both clients and office-based teams to ensure smooth project delivery
* Providing technical support both in person and remotely
* Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on-site with a proactive, solution-focused approach
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant Health and Safety procedures while on-site
The Ideal Candidate for the Electronic Systems Engineer
To be considered for this position, you should be confident working with electronic systems and familiar with Windows-based IT, including basic networking and software installation. A professional and courteous manner is essential, as this is a customer-facing role. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar field-based position and be comfortable working independently while managing your own schedule. You’ll need to have a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility for the quality of your work.

A company vehicle or car allowance is provided as part of the package.This is a field-based role, and frequent travel with overnight stays is expected.When not working on-site, attendance at the company’s South Coast office is required.
