Global Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Platers and Structural Steel Fabricators to join a highly skilled fabrication team based in Coatbridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong heavy steel and structural fabrication experience who are looking for long-term work, excellent pay rates, and regular overtime opportunities.
This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with a salary review available after 13 weeks for successful candidates.
The Role
As part of the fabrication team, you will be responsible for :
Fabricating structural steel components from engineering drawings
Cutting, shaping, and assembling steel platework
Working closely with welders and production teams
Operating fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
Following all site health & safety procedures
Requirements
To be considered, candidates should have :
Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and plating
The ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
Experience working on large or heavy steel projects
Strong skills using fabrication tools and machinery
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Shifts & Pay Rates
Dayshift
£24.25 per hour
£29.25 per hour overtime after 40 hours
Nightshift
£29.50 per hour
£32.50 per hour overtime after 40 hours
Additional Information:
Monday to Friday working patterns
Regular overtime and weekend work available
CIS / Umbrella payment options
PAYE available after 13 weeks
