We are seeking a School Business Manager to lead on finance, HR, administration, and resource management at our vibrant primary school.
What you will be doing
* Lead the planning and development of school support systems and policies
* Manage budgets, payroll, procurement, and financial reporting
* Oversee HR processes, staff cover, and compliance with safeguarding and data protection
* Support income generation and strategic planning with the Senior Leadership Team and Governors
* Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations and contribute to the school's long‑term success
What we are looking for
* Strong financial and administrative experience, ideally in a school setting
* Excellent communication, organisational, and ICT skills
* A strategic thinker with a friendly, approachable manner
* Knowledge of HR procedures, data protection legislation and ideally school funding
* Experience managing staff and working with external agencies
Desirable
Familiarity with Teacher Centre, Resource Link
